A private members bill from Bay of Quinte MP Neil Ellis aimed at ending veteran homelessness has failed to gain any momentum.
Bill M-225 failed to make it to a vote in the House of Commons before the government recessed for summer break.

Ellis says all hope isn’t lost as he will have an opportunity to bring it back.

The bill was seconded by Conservative and New Democrat MPs while being supported by numerous national and veteran homelessness organizations.
