CIH kicks off Housing 2019 with call for government to definitely end housing crisis

Chartered Institute of Housing chief executive Terrie Alafat CBE has opened the Housing 2019 conference with a call for the government to fund a 10-year programme to build around one and a half million social homes to rent, as well as shared ownership properties to buy across the country.
