Jill is the CEO of BCNPHA. She joined BCNPHA in 2010 as the Research Director, later serving as Managing Director and Acting CEO during the BCNPHA recruitment process conducted by Leaders International Executive Search. Jill has 15 years of experience in the not-for-profit sector, and most recently led the development of the Canadian Rental Housing Index and oversaw the development of a 10-year Affordable Housing Plan for BC in order to solve our province’s housing affordability and homelessness crisis. This plan has informed the current provincial government’s $7-billion investment in affordable housing in BC. Jill is well known to the sector, and is respected by our members and key stakeholders within the affordable housing community. Jill has an M.A. from the School of Community and Regional Planning at UBC and is a Chartered Member of the Canadian Institute of Housing Canada.
