Planning for the Next Generation: Attracting and Motivating Generation Y

Geraldine-web4Succession planning is becoming an increasingly topical issue for many housing organizations as they face an aging and retiring workforce. In this webinar, CIH President and Incommunities Chief Executive, Geraldine Howley, shares outcomes of a research study on Generation Y – those born between 1982 and 2002 – working in social housing.

The joint study, developed by Incommunities, the GEM Programme and International Housing Partnership, looked at Gen Y housing workers from Canada, UK, USA and Australia. What do they expect from their workplace and how does this compare to their workplace reality?  How can we attract, retain and develop the next generation of housing leaders and staff?
